Selling some products to just one country

Hi,

Could someone tell me if there is a way to sell some of my products to one country only? What code would I need to put in?

Thanks,

Gary:smile:

Re: Selling some products to just one country

This can be done with custom code ...

I once had to write code where various products could only be US destination and others could be outside US only while still others could be either ...

Takes a bit of work, but it can be done ...

Re: Selling some products to just one country

It would require quite a bit of coding ...

You also have to make some decisions on what happens with products to the US and CAD and Russia are mixed in the same cart?

Do you kill the checkout on login?

Do you make customers login before allowed to add to cart?

Once able to add to cart do you switch products for someone with US address to not add to cart something to CAD?

What if the guy with US address plans to send it to CAD? Now you just blew the sale because you blocked adding to the shopping cart based on current address "before" they could say I am ordering for grandma in Toronto ...

This is not something that one can just sit down and write a line or two to say how to customize Zen Cart for this ...

It is not just a job ... it is an adventure ... :lamo:
