UGH! Now can't access site!
I resolved my earlier issue posted of not being able to access the admin on my site. But now I have more headaches! As my other post stated, everything worked fine last night, went to bed, woke up and my host's server crashed. They claim they have fixed the issues however since then I have had problems accessing parts of the admin such as the developer's tool box. I received an error stating some unexpected parse error on line 691. I wrote to tech support of my host again. They claim I need a professional web developer's help because my files are corrupted. How can this be? They worked fine BEFORE the crash!
So I copied the original admin files back over my existing files. This seems to have resolved my admin issues. I can now access the developers tool box and other things that I couldn't before. But now I can't access my site! I receive this 500 Internal error:
<<Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator, [email protected] and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.
More information about this error may be available in the server error log.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request. >>
Do I need to change something within my admin/configuration.php file again? Someone please help me......I've been wrestling with this since I woke up and didnt' expect to have so many problems considering when I went to bed last night I only had 1 minor thing to fix and my site would have been completely upgraded, customizations and all. Is it possible when the server crashed it did some damage along the way?
