Runtime Error since upgrade to 1.3.6 (missed upgrading some template files)

When accessing the login page, I get a Runtime Error:
Line: 248
Error: 'Document.GetElementById (...)' is null or not an object.

Where do I begin digging?
Thanks.

OK, if I turn off the "Select state by drop-down", it goes away, so I have a starting point for my digging......

Re: Runtime Error since upgrade to 1.3.6 (missed upgrading some template files)

It's in this section:

  function hideStateField(theForm) {
    theForm.state.disabled = true;
    theForm.state.className = 'hiddenField';
    theForm.state.setAttribute('className', 'hiddenField');
    document.getElementById("stateLabel").className = 'hiddenField';
    document.getElementById("stateLabel").setAttribute('className', 'hiddenField');
    document.getElementById("stText").className = 'hiddenField';
    document.getElementById("stText").setAttribute('className', 'hiddenField');
    document.getElementById("stBreak").className = 'hiddenField';
    document.getElementById("stBreak").setAttribute('className', 'hiddenField');
  }

This line is the one my debugger highlights:
document.getElementById("stateLabel").className = 'hiddenField';

Re: Runtime Error since upgrade to 1.3.6 (missed upgrading some template files)

OK, aside from talking to myself here, I narrowed it down to a template issue. I reverted to the default template and no longer get the Runtime error on the login page. I thought I edited all of the templates. I guess I was wrong.....

OK,
I'm done talking to myself and figuring this out. I had copied all of the default templates into the templates folder of my custom template. I forgot I did that. I never changed anything in any of those templates, so I just deleted the whole templates folder from my custom template folder. Problem solved.

Ripper-

Sometimes talking to yourself has some benefits :) Thanks for keeping us posted as to the problem. Glad you running again.

Please do not PM for support issues: a private solution doesn't benefit the community.

Be careful with unsolicited advice via email or PM - Make sure the person you are talking to is a reliable source.

In case anyone else has this issue, this is the template that was the problem:
YOUR_STORE_MAIN_FOLDER/includes/templates/YOUR_CUSTOM_TEMPLATE_FOLDER/templates/tpl_modules_create_account.php
