General Questions about Zen Cart

After evaluating Actinic V.8 I cannot say I was too impressed and came across. Zen Cart.

I have a few YES / No Questions that I would appreciate an answer before I look further into the product.

Has Zen Cart the following features

1. Mulitiple Shiiping Area / Zones
2. Compatible with Paypal
3. Can I create my own templates (for displaying products only)
4. I am a web developer and would prefer to create my own templates rather than pre-defined 'standard' templates that I assume are offered by Zen Cart.
5. I read a review on Zen Cart and it stated that it requires its users to have a merchant account; is this true. Would it still be required if only PayPal was used for transactions?Thanks in advance,

Hello John, Yes you can have multiple shipping zones,
Yes Zen Cart is compatible with PayPal IPN, ( module is included )
Yes you can create your own template, Zen is designed so that you can create your own template and Not have to touch core files,
Zen Cart dosnt require a merchant account, ( only needed if you are wanting to take real credit card payments )
