Can I change the products layout within the category?

Sorry to start seperate threads. I thought it might be easier for those looking if I seperated my questions out.

Currently, my products will show in a grid. I would like to change it so that if one clicks into my category, they see a preview of each product and can then click on the product they are interested in, to go to it's own page.

My items have so many options that the current layout is not going to work well for me.

I'd like to change the look of the pages within the categories...

For instance, here's what my site looks like now, when you click on the category Cute Sayings,

What I was hoping to do was make it look more like my original site when you click a category, like this

I'm transitioning from one host/cart to another , as well as splitting 1 website into 2 websites, so I am attempting to make the transition as easy as possible for my current customer base.

Add a couple more test products so that you get the category listing page and then you will probably want to add the Columnar Grid Layout add on.

I added a few more products and the layout changed, but still has the single product per row.

Yes they show in a single row as the default, go to the Downloads section and get the Columnar/Grid Layout modifucation
