Performance slow after moving to root directory.

Hello,

I am in the process trying to go live. But when I moved my site from a working directory to the root directory it became VERY sluggish and slow to load.

It was kind of slow before 5 seconds to parse a page. But now it is a full 13 seconds to parse a page and I only have about 10 items.

I flagged my site for maintence until I can resolve this issue.

I am currently being hosted by Godaddy. I did a quick search thru the forums and it seems that Godaddy is notorious for bad perfomance.

Can anyone recommend a host that supports Zen Cart.

You might click the Hosting link at the top of your screen for hosting sites that know a bit more about how to work with e-commerce, php and MySQL than what you are currently experiencing ...
