Custom Override Folders

I had someone upgrade my site to the new version and now there are a few things out of whack. I was told that my custom overrides were not set up correctly and I was sure that I had them right. Could someone please tell me what I did wrong?

Whereever there was a classic folder I created a custom folder to put my modified php files in. I didn't do that in Admin because I understood that Admin couldn't have custom folders.

Includes / languages / english / custom / xxxxxx.p.p

Is that not correct?

Re: Custom Override Folders

My second image appears above the orignal on the product listing and it was above the description before. Also on product listing it used to say Shipping $6.00 now it say Shipping $5.95lbs. Also after adding to cart it shows

Qty Update Cart Button Image Units Total Trash Can Icon
I would like to remove the Update Cart Button since there is already one below the box. I also want to remove Units so it does not display the price two times.

At the top right of the page is [help(?)]. It wasn't there before.

Re: Custom Override Folders

Beth you have uploaded an OLD tpl_product_info.php page
this is NOT an admin file,
it is in your custom/template folder

try replacing it with a fresh one from 1.3.5 ( rename the spare one that I uploaded for you )

and it will add your images back to the bottom

Re: Custom Override Folders

Okay that is fixed. However, the only reason I uploaded an old template was to see if it would work because it was that way before. How to I move the add to cart button and make the shipping display correctly?

Re: Custom Override Folders

look for the code that says add to cart
grab everything in the <div></div> and move it where you want to on the page,

The issues you were having were zen 1.2 template in a 1.3 store,

Re: Custom Override Folders

I can't seem to find that in the product info file. Which file do I need to edit?

Re: Custom Override Folders

Beth - I helped Tony with your site earlier this year and I thought we had fixed all pages to be identical to the pages from your old template.

If you would like I will fix these things for you - you can contact me directly using contact info in my profile.
