cart sidebox item count (not total count)

I have been trying to get the shopping cart sidebox to show the count of the items purchased. For example if someone buys two red t-shirts and 3 black socks. I want the sidebox to show there are 2 red t-shirts and 3 black socks in the cart.

I have looked at cart summery sidebox contrib this does not appair to do what I want. I have included an image to show an example of what I mean.

and the regular shopping cart sidebox doesn't work because?

Line #110 : define('BOX_SHOPPING_CART_DIVIDER', 'ea.- ');

changed to

Line #110 : define('BOX_SHOPPING_CART_DIVIDER', '&nbsp &times  ');

I just needed to post the question because I hadn't posted anything for a while...

I am not sure why I didn't notice that, I must say how fast did you reply. Wow! I did figure it out 5 mins after posting, funny how that happens...
