Shipping cost doesn't show up in order confirmation and emails

Is there a way to show the shipping costs on checkout_payment (step 2 of 3)? It currently shows the subtotal and total (which includes the shipping) but does not display the shipping amount.

Also, the emails sent do not account for the shipping costs. I would think that the customer might find it odd that the subtotal and total have different values but there is no explanation as to what the additional charges are from.

What is your setting in the Admin> Modules> Order Totals for Shipping?
