Logo on the left side top instead of categories

Hi,
is it possible to have a *.jpg file on the place of categorie box? (categorie box should be one part down)
How can i do this?

If I am understanding what you want...an image for the sidebox heading...if for all left boxes...place your image in includes/templates/your_template/images folder and then find this is your stylesheet.css file

.leftBoxHeading, .centerBoxHeading {
	margin: 0em;
	background-color: #FF6699;
	padding: 0.5em 0.2em;
	}
```And separate and change to this

.leftBoxHeading {
margin: 0em;
background-image: url(..images/your_image.jpg(gif);
background-color: #FFFFFF;
padding: 0.5em 0.2em;
}
.centerBoxHeading {
margin: 0em;
background-color: #FF6699;
padding: 0.5em 0.2em;
}

If just for the categories box...do the same for the image and add this to the stylesheet.css

#categoriesHeading {
margin: 0em;
background-image: url(..images/your_image.jpg(gif);
background-color: #FFFFFF;
padding: 0.5em 0.2em;
}

many thanks for your description but i does not want to change the background color of the Box heading with an image.
I want to put all left boxes 150px down. In this place of 150px x 180px i want to put an image.
Sorry for my bad english - Is it possible what i want to do?

The 1st sidebox on the left might be what you want. If so, let me know and I'll give you instructions on setting it up.

Here's the mod.

Just unzip, upload add add the css changes in the readme to your stylesheet.css

go to admin -> tools -> layout box controller and activate the new sidebox.

:ohmy: Sorry, I forgot to mention in my last post.

Create your logo using an image editor (make sure the width will fit within the sidebox. 125px is usually a good width.)

upload the file to includes -> templates -> template_default -> images.

After i put logo_sidebox_defines.php in german/extra_definitions on the left side of my side top looks "My logo".

Where i have to store the my logo file? (same name as in logo_sidebox_defines.php)

I tried some place but my side schows only the text "My logo"

problem is solved. The Logo looks on my side.
On top of the logo is a 3 mm border may be the rest of heading background.???

In the meantime i think it could be nice, if the motto (Drei Dinge braucht der Mensch... ) stands in a headline on top of the logo, if it is possible.

I don´t want to ask you for solving all my problems. I want to learn to solve it myself. But it is very good to know that if i have no idea, see no way to solve a problem, that there is a man i can ask.

Darf Ich fragen warum sie 2 stylesheets benutzed haben?

The motto might be a bit long to fit as a header above the logo.

You can easily add it to the define statement in includes -> languages -> YOUR_LANGUAGE -> extra_definitions -> logo_sidebox_defines.php

Yeah, I check your site you have one stylesheet called stylesheet-versteckt.css and one called stylesheet.css

As far as I can tell they are both the same and could interfere with each other when getting information for the styling of the site.

You might consider dropping one of them.

You also have quite a few <br> calls that should be corrected to read <br />

i take the stylesheet-versteckt.css away. But i am nearly sure that i did not install it. How can this happen?
<br> i allways used this form - what is the difference to <br/>?
(Zencart self made the changes to <br/>)
What programm do you use to see that, because i see it only in the admin-modus. in this way i would need days for checking that.

<br> is an unclosed tag while <br /> is a closed.

<br> is not XHTML standards compliant.

If you do a validation you will get errors so it is much better to use the correct tag.

same goes of <hr />.

I did a view source of the site in my browser.

You should be able to just do a search and replace for <br> and replace with <br />
