How to turn off (+$0.30) on the product attributes

I remember digging in the code years ago on an older version of the zen cart and changing the product attributes to display

*option1 - $10.25
*option2- $10.25
*option3 - $10.25
*option4 - $10.25
*option5 - $10.25

instead of:

*option1 - $10.25 (+$0.30)
*option2 - $10.25 (+$0.30)
*option3 - $10.25 (+$0.30)
*option4 - $10.25 (+$0.30)
*option5 - $10.25 (+$0.30)

So my question to you fellow zencart hackers is..

Is there a way to take off (+$0.30) at the end of the product attribute listings with out changing the code?

If so how?

If not, can you direct me to the right page to change?

You must have 0.30 set int attributes somewhere remove it and it will not be there

You have added the .30 to your attributes, so if you want the +.30 gone, you need to go to the attibutes controller, go to the product, and remove the .30 from that attribute.

If you're saying you want to charge the +.30 cents, but not have it shown, I guess you could modify some code to do that, but that doesn't seem very informative for your customers. :wink2:

Thanks but I will have the total price next to the attribute, instead of having the customer add the product up themselves. here is an expample.

The customers seem to like this method better. :)

Yes, but it is a "band-aid" solution at this point.

Product Price 0.00
Product is Priced by Attribute YES

Add Attribute:
Prefix (blank)
Price 10.25

Voila .. :smile:
