How to set a default country per language for multi language sites

Hello,

I have a multilinguale site and I wish to set a default country for each language (US - > english, JP - Japan etc...). The current version of the cart does not porvides this feature by default. Anyone here with a turnaround ? Thanks in advance.

It is doable but there currently is no Japanese language pack in the downloads section.

You would need to create your own language pack.

Sorry i think I misunderstood your question.

I just took Japan as an example. In fact, I don't want a german or Spanish buyer have the UK as his default country in the create account form. I want to hard code a different "default country id" for each language pack so that a spanish buyer will be happy :) to see Spain as his default country :) in the create account form...etc....

Someone must have come across this pb before. Any help will be greatly appreciated.
