Bots & Zenid

Yes, Virginia, I've set 'Prevent Spider Sessions' to false.

Bots are still getting zenids, regardless. Is there a fix that I've missed?

Perhaps a bit more information? Your ZC version? PHP and MYSQL versions? What mods you have installed? Maybe the URL too?

PHP: 4.4.4
MySQL : 4.1.16
ZC: 1.3.6
GoogleSitemap mod only.

I've customized quite a bit, but nothing regarding to sessions, and along the customization guidelines (for the most part).

Just checked my Who's Online and Googlebot swung by 13 minutes ago without a zenid. Earlier he showed up with a zenid, which prompted the question. Maybe nothing's wrong. Let me know if you have any ideas.

Do you have any examples of where you see the bot grabbing a zenid?

Did this ever get resolved... cause same thing for me. Since I upgraded to 1.3.6 I have zenids in all my links.

Any thoughts?

I'm not sure if anything was resolved because I'm not sure what the problem was. Since installing the GoogleSiteMap mod, the zenids have mostly dissappeared. I think it just takes time for the bots to update the links. I still have a few with zenids every once in a while, but for the most part they're gone.
