Doesn't Make Sense

when i log into the admin section.. my stats on the left have this

Products: 1506
Products deactivated: 1915

how can I have more products deactivated than I have...... help please

If you look at your database in phpMyAdmin ...

How many products and products_descriptions do you have?

How many rows are on the products_to_categories table?

Do you use Linked Products?

what the heck is with all the "null"'s..... is that my probem..... i havent even checked the product description

go to the last page of that and see what the product id is

Do you import your products or enter them all in the Admin?

What version of Zen Cart are you running?

Clean install or an upgrade? If an upgrade, what version did you upgrade from and how did you upgrade it?

Do you have any add-ons?

product id is the first number... using 1.3.6 upgrade from 1.3.5... i entered many by admin but about 600+ with easy populate... add ons : easy populate, cross sell (which doesnt seem to work either but that is another post), light box... uh a few others that i can not remember right now.... am deleting all the null's now... looks like ile be doing it for a while... any ideas what caused it... was having a problem adding attributes.. gave me a * saying cat was disabled... could this have something to do with it... cat's are not diabled and products can be viewed fine.... i did something screwy.... cant add items and get this all the time.... have backed up the db... will do again after i delete these.. checking the products deactivated as i delete.. they are going down.. but they are not listed anywhere... at least not anywhere i can find... :(

ok i got it down to 953 items deactivated but that is still wrong... 136 are.. if they are linked i understand maybe increasing that number... but not to 953...

well thanks for the insight.. i would have never thought to check out the database... dont like messing with it to much... never know what you are going to muck up... i also had to delete the product description too... scared to use easy populate now.. thanks again.. this has to be the best open source support i have ever seen/used... :D
