can i access my other website database

hello friend

i have two website both run under diff. server

site 1: https://www.example1.com - simple php website
site 2:https://www.myzencart.com - zencart

now i want to access simple php website database from my zencart
(ultimately i want to install my database on site1 address)

my both server support Curl.
i am owner of both website (so i have all needed username password).

so can anyone help me how can i do this?

In PHPmyadmin, set that simple database can be accessed by IP
of zencart.. then in zencart configs, instead of localhost, set
the IP of simple, with corresponding mysql database user stuff
etc.. this should work

i am not expert

so can you tell me where i need to make chnage in my zencart config file

ip 1: 72.22.69.79
ip2: 72.22.69.153 (this is my zencart)

ip1 : has
database : test1
username: xxxxxxx
password: yyyyyyyy

so can you tell me what should be my config file on this info.

In order to achieve, both zencart installs must be hosted on linux/apache
server/s with CPanel/WHM installed.. if you don't have this configuration
then regret cannot help further

my first website is simple php site (not zencart)

second one is zencart

and i have Vdeck as cpanel in both

VDeck is NOT the same as CPanel/WHM..
different set up entirely :no:

You don't need things to be hosted on Linux/Apache/CPanel, you only need MySQL with networking to access a DB server remotely and not have any firewalls blocking access from outside the local network that the server is on. It's usually on port 3306.

For define('DB_SERVER', 'localhost'); it would be something like
define('DB_SERVER', '123.233.233.111:3306');

A lot of hosts don't support this for connection outside their private network for security reasons, you might have to contact your host to find out if they support it.
