Member get member mod?

Is there anyway that customers can earn bonus points for referring new customers to a store?

My thought is that I would offer my current customers a bonus program, where they get, say a percentage or USD discount on their next buy for each buying customer they refer to us. For instance - if one of my customers sends an email about us to 10 friends, and 2 of them actually buys something - my old customer gets a 2x5 USD discount on his/her next buy.

Is this at all possible, or are there any "similar" possibilities?

This is not built into Zen Cart at this time ...

It can, however, be customized to do this and manage the discounts or credit etc.

Re: Member get member mod?

Hi there
I use discount coupons for this purpose. I create a coupon eg CR25 (25 being the customers zencart ID) and assign it a certain percentage. When a new customer enters this coupon I know who has referred then an can give them something

Thank you for your answers, I guess my big "Loyalty Programme" plans will have to be adapted a bit - BUT, the GC idea is not bad at all. I think I'll try that...
