[Done v1.3.7] Free Shipping Image on 1.3.6

Doesn't matter if I turn off to show the free shipping image, it doesn't turn of. On both product types (General / Free Shipping) I have:
Product Free Shipping Image Status - Catalog = No
...and still showing the image on the product page. Is there another place to turn it off or is this a bug? :blink:

This was a fresh install, and even has 2 modules installed, I haven't been able to get rid of the image since before those installations.

Hi all,

I too have been pondering about this, and have found the following solution:

Create a transparent image of 1x1 pixel, and upload it to your custom template directory/images and name it 'always-free-shipping.gif', make sure you save the pixel as a transparent gif, or alternatively make it in the same colour as your page background.

Hope this helps in the interim.

  1. What "product type" are these products built from?
  2. Have you set the free-shipping-icon switch for "that" product type?
  3. Can you share a URL to see this in action?

Free shipping type.

Have you set the free-shipping-icon switch for "that" product type?
I go to:
Catalog > Product Types > Product - Free Shipping > Edit Layout > Product Free Shipping Image Status - Catalog > No
Any other place?

Can you share a URL to see this in action?
Sure: Free Shipping Sample (the setting is off, it shouldn't supposed to show the free shipping image).

Re: [Done v1.3.7] Free Shipping Image on 1.3.6

The product itself is marked as Always Free Shipping, right?
As of v1.3.6, that's what's causing the display of the icon ... rather than the product-type switch.

I believe this constitutes a bug, since the intended logic exists in the product listing, but didn't get reflected in the template.

As such, if you'd like to have the product-type switch do it, you'll have to alter the code:

  1. Edit the modules/pages/product_free_shipping_info/main_template_vars.php
    add this around line 177:
  $flag_show_product_info_free_shipping = zen_get_show_product_switch($_GET['products_id'], 'always_free_shipping_image_switch');
  1. Edit your tpl_product_free_shipping_info_display.php template:
    change this:
<?php if(zen_get_product_is_always_free_shipping($products_id_current)) { ?>

to this:

<?php if(zen_get_product_is_always_free_shipping($products_id_current) && $flag_show_product_info_free_shipping) { ?>
