Reload shows an undesired yellow background

I have been setting up a new site using Zencart 1.3.6. Using the override system, a custom template and the tips in this forum, I have come a long way towards Zen enlightenment.
I notice that when loading or reloading the Zencart home page, the first background color is yellow, then the template colors kick in. This happens in both the header and main body background.
I can't figure out where the yellow is coming from. The default template? Style sheet/Which style sheet?
In IE6 this is easily reproduced, but not in Firefox.
If anyone would take a look and give me a direction I would appreciate it!

(Site is down for maint as there are no real products yet. But you can still see the effect.)

Re: Reload shows an undesired yellow background

your stylesheet

body {
background-color: #FFCC00;
color: #000000;
margin: 0px;
margin-bottom: 0px;
padding: 0px;
font: 11px Verdana, Arial, sans-serif;
background-image: url(../images/hatch_bg.gif);
}

change your background color to white remove completely.

IGD:

your stylesheet

body {
background-color: #FFCC00;
color: #000000;
margin: 0px;
margin-bottom: 0px;
padding: 0px;
font: 11px Verdana, Arial, sans-serif;
background-image: url(../images/hatch_bg.gif);
}

change your background color to white remove completely.

Thanks IGD,
It's always simple when you get good direction!
Worked like a charm, but I went with another shade of purple rather than white. What I only recently confirmed is that this particular effect is a result of the PurpleShades template in it's off the shelf form. Not a gripe, just a fact...
Thanks again for the response.
