gift certificate

My problem that i make gift cert and click on free shipping but when i test it on a product it gives 10.5 percent off,, i cant figure whaats up

Gift Certificates require a few settings:

1 Mark the Product as
Product is Virtual: Yes, Skip Shipping Address

2 Enter a Model number where the first 4 characters are: GIFT

3 review 2 and make sure you entered the first 4 characters, in caps, as: GIFT
