Need weight in invoice

My webstore has items with various weights (litres, lbs, grams etc) and i need to display this info on the invoice. The webstore sells groceries and the delivery guys need to know what weight of a particular item they are to pick up for the delivery. We are not using the weight attribute because the store only carries a limited number of items, but the grocery store may carry various sizes.

Model # means nothing to them so i would like to replace this portion with the weight. I also would like to remove the price(ex) and total(ex).

since i am not overly adept with php, can someone help me out?

I would also love to hear if anyone has done this already. I look through the admin pretty well and haven't found anything. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

The products_weight is not part of the orders_products table ...

products_attributes_weight is part of the orders_products_attributes ...

If your products do not change, this could be updated via a function that either calls the products_weight and products_attributes_weight to figure out the weight or updated the orders_products table to add the products_weight and products_weight_prefix and then display the information on the Order or Invoice or Packing Slip ...
