"New" on product listing page

Hello,
I don't want to over crowd my home page, so is there a way I can get Zen Cart to highlite **new **products on the products listing page?

It might look something like this?

**Zulu Rose Zanzibar in Pink
with Braided Front
NEW!

$42.00

Re: "New" on product listing page

You could build in a function to check if a product is new and if so, add text or an image etc.

Re: "New" on product listing page

How difficult would it be to create such a function.
Is it something I could do (with little php experience), or maybe I could contract someone on the forum.

Re: "New" on product listing page

You can look at the method to pull a product as "new" and use the same idea to test the product date with a function to determin is this a new product and if so, return true or false ... or return the actual image code or a blank string to be added to the price ...

You may wish to post in the Commercial Help Wanted ...
