Thumbs in listings, but not detail? Possible?

Hello everyone,

Zen Newbie here, but learning quickly thanks to this forum. I've been searching a lot on this one and haven't found anything yet.

What I'm wanting to do is keep the image thumb on the product listings page, but when the visitor clicks through to the product detail I would like to not have the thumb show - only the description I've entered.

I've seen how to remove the thumbs altogether, but not how to remove them just from the product detail page.

I seem to have stumbled upon the answer by accident. Here's what I did for anyone else seeking the same solution. Also, please forgive me if I posted this in the wrong place - couldn't find where to delete the post or move it to a more appropriate area.

How I did it:
I edited the file: tpl_modules_main_product_image.php
(found by going to: includes/templates/template_default/templates/)

I removed everything below the line:

<?php require(DIR_WS_MODULES . zen_get_module_directory(FILENAME_MAIN_PRODUCT_IMAGE)); ?>

The result is the images still appear in my product listings, but when you click through to the product detail you get a 'clean slate' below the product title and price.

Of course, I am a Zen Newbie, so I may have deleted something that will make me rip my hair out down the road. I hope if any experts foresee this they'll let me know (and help preserve my hair).
