Re: Link Seperator - category tabs

Are talking about the green text on the white background? That isn't the EZ Pages Menu, that is the Categories Tabs Menu.

Re: Link Seperator - category tabs

My mistake.

Is there a category tabs menu separator?

Re: Link Seperator - category tabs

can you add a separator manually for the category tabs? if yes, how do you do them?

thanks

Re: Link Seperator - category tabs

I found myself needing the same thing here...

I added the following code from the EZ-Pages Separator, since its going to be the same thing.

<?php echo ($i < $n ? EZPAGES_SEPARATOR_HEADER : '') . "\n"; ?>

at line 21 of tpl_modules_categories_tabs.php

which worked perfect. except that I don't know how to stop the loop. (not have the last item have a separator afterwards...)

as of right now, my tpl_modules_categories_tabs.php looks like this:

  include(DIR_WS_MODULES . zen_get_module_directory(FILENAME_CATEGORIES_TABS));
?>
<?php if (CATEGORIES_TABS_STATUS == '1' && sizeof($links_list) >= 1) { ?>
<div id="navCatTabsWrapper">
<div id="navCatTabs">
<ul>
<?php for ($i=0, $n=sizeof($links_list); $i<$n; $i++) { ?>
  <li><?php echo $links_list[$i];?><?php echo ($i < $n ? EZPAGES_SEPARATOR_HEADER : '') . "\n"; ?></li>
<?php } ?>
</ul>
</div>
</div>
<?php } ?>

any thoughts would be really appreciated.

thanks.

Re: Link Seperator - category tabs

($i < $n ? EZPAGES_SEPARATOR_HEADER : '')

says that if $i is less than $n, put in the separator; if not, put in nothing.
You want the test to be negative on the last execution, so if it is not, change

$i < $n

to

$i < ($n-1)

Re: Link Seperator - category tabs

I've done this as stated above, and it seems to work with the exception of a random _n after the separator. I'm not terribly fluent in php scripting yet, but if anyone can tell me how to find where this is coming from it would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Link Seperator - category tabs

I also searched for how to change the color of the separator, and tried adding a span tag to the edit box , but that didn't seem to work. Is there another way to go about this that I couldn't find?

Thanks in advance
-Seth

Re: Link Seperator - category tabs

including a little html worked for me

<?php if ($i<$n-1) { echo '<font color="#FFFFFF">|&nbsp&nbsp&nbsp</font>'; } ?>
