Text attribute and set font and position for a proof

Has anyone worked on producing a ' proof ' from the text attribute for a product ?

The idea is to set a line of text and display it in a specified font and position it on a page. The product is going to be a printed item and the requirement is to show the customer what the text they have just input would look like.

For instance a business card with 5 lines of text, the client would enter the text and the result could be displayed online in some choices of font or even colour. When choice has been made the shopping cart can collect payment and create an order.

Any ideas ?

This would also be useful if a greeting card site wanted to offer custom messages. I'd be very interested in a mod for this, but it probably shouldn't be part of the base code.

I am working on something similar. The printer my customer uses already has this capability, but does not provide any sort of shopping cart capacity. It is strictly one order at a time. Hence the need for ZenCart in this situation.
If I were to implement such a system myself, I would probably look into ImageMagick, which could be called by script to generate the specified images.
