Display the total # of Items in Cart

Display the total # of Items in Cart - Custom

I've searched around and tried to do this myself with no luck..

The temp url for the site is http://209.85.7.143/~funky/store/index.php

At the top right side corner, in the header, I have a image that says "Shopping Bag" w/ a little bag next to it, well next to that I want it to display the total # of items that are currently in that customer's bag inside some brackets (see example below).

Can someone point me in the right direction??

Add:

define('TEXT_MINI_CART_ITEMS','shopping bag');

to a file with any other extra definitions

Add: to you tpl_header in the appropriate place

<?php echo TEXT_MINI_CART_ITEMS . $_SESSION['cart']->count_contents() ;?>

Hello, how do you get the image of the bag next to the shopping cart?
