Problem with homepage (index.php) is being forwarded to another page

I'm having really hard time figuring out why my main page, index.php is being forwarded to one of my products listing. If you visit my website, **www.elegantfragrances.com** you will notice that it will forward you to **http://www.elegantfragrances.com/ind...oducts_id=6208**.

Has anyone experienced similar problem in the past and knows how to fix this issue?

Do you have your site set to Always show Categories on main page? And does the Category only have 1 Product to it?

If so, there is an automatic Skip Product Listing for Categories with 1 product and that could be what is happening there ...

Configuration ... Layout Settings ...

Categories - Always Show on Main Page
Always Show Categories on Main Page
0= off
1= on
Default category can be set to Top Level or a Specific Top Level

Main Page - Opens with Category
0= Top Level Categories
Or enter the Category ID#
Note: Sub Categories can also be used Example: 3_10

is actually set to 1

and

Main Page - Opens with Category
is set to 0.

I tried to use the developers tool kit to find "6208" in any of the files, but did not have any luck. It was not able to find this anywhere. Would there be another cause for this problem?

Do you have both Products and Categories showing in the Admin ... Catalog ... Categories/Products ...

Categories hold either Products or Categories ... never both ...

It looks like you have a Product in the Top Level Category ...

Linda, you are a life saver. It didn't cross my mind at all. I went and removed that product from the top level and everything works great!!!!
