change white backround to image

i went to the style sheet in both classic and temp default....
i changed the body and mainwrapper. did i miss something. the body is still white.. i put

background-img: url(../images/back_bg.jpg);

the image is there....

i dont understand why it doesnt work... thanks

The correct CSS would be> background-image: url(../images/back_bg.jpg);
