PHP error, sessions related? Can't login to Admin area 5.2.0

Hi, I'm installing Zen Cart on my Mac (Intel, OS X 10.4) using the apache server. The installation seemed to go fine (but I did have a warning about MySQL 5, but this doesn't seem to be related to the database). Once everything was installed I tried to login but the page is unresponsive.

It looks like some sort of PHP error, maybe my PHP install is patchy? I don't think it is, but it's possible.

This is the error in full:

Fatal error: Call to a member function Execute() on a non-object in /Users/stephen/Sites/Pub/store/includes/functions/sessions.php on line **61

**I took a look at the code and it looked fine to me ... I don't even know if the error is exactly related to my specific problem.

found a solution to my own problem. Apparently there is a bug in the version of PHP I'm running, so my suspicions wasn't too far off. Not aware if there is any updates to PHP or if the bug is going to be fixed, but found a solution to my problem here: http://www.zen-cart.com/forum/showpost.php?p=287587&postcount=26

Thought I'd make sure Mac users that have this problem could find this information.

I just wanted to say that I happened to find this on a blind forum-wide search trying to figure out my problem. I think the server is BSD, rather than Mac as this sub forum is directed to, but the same fix applies. Thank you!
