"Sales message goes here & zen cart logo"

Hi, after long..long hours.. I need help!..
I am trying to put my logo and delete some default messages from the shopping cart like "sales message goes here".. or "congratulations.. you have successfully installed... " etc.. etc..

I have read the support site, for example: https://www.zen-cart.com/tutorials/index.php?article=127 and have done what it says, created a custom folder, uploaded the files!.. but still does not take my messages or logo.. still reads the same..

I am sure there's something easy that I don't know.. I don't know much about php.... please help..!

Thanks a lot!.
