Reward a Friend?

ZenCart: 1.3.0.1

Has anyone figured out how to implement a "bring a friend" option in their store? I want to be able to reward a user who brings a new customer in with a "bring a friend" free product to BOTH people (original customer and the new customer).

Anyone got an easy and automatic solution?
