Shipping table not showing.

I am on the home run with my first zen cart magnifico web site:laugh:

I have installed the shipping table and set it as follows:

QUESTION: When I test the site and select estimate cost the option for shipping based on price doesnt show, only the pick up option I left displaying.

Oh and How do I add a radio button to select the option to chose direct debit payments please?

What shipping modules are installed?

What zones are set?

Did you define the details of the zones?

Note: you are not using the templates and overrides system and will be very sad next time you upgrade and all of your customizations are overwritten and wiped out ... :eek:

Zone? No have no idea what that is all about.:no:

Overrides? Well I came across that info too late and still unsure of that procedure. I kept an untouched version of this zencart and thought that would be enough. I thought I could upload the "classsic" template again untouched and I would be right? No? :yuck:

This is getting harder by the day and I am getting fearful of not getting to the end, but I thought I was so close.:cry:

Go to Modules ... Shipping ...

What Shipping Modules are actually installed for your site?

Do your products have weight?

Is 0 weight set to mean Free Shipping?

If 0 weight means Free Shipping do you have Free Shipping freeshipper installed?

If 0 weight does not mean Free Shipping, change the setting in Configuration ... Shipping and Packaging ...

Table rate is 1
all others are red or orange (some 0) and pick up is green & 0

If you are not using a Shipping Module and it is any color other than Red ... click on it then click Remove ...

Click on Table Rate table ...

Click on Edit ...

What is the setting for:

Shipping Zone
If a zone is selected, only enable this shipping method for that zone.

Done now they are all red except for Table which is still orange

Sorry, we are not shipping to your region at this time.

That's because you have a Zone set like Australia and do not have the details of the Zone set so it doesn't really exist so it cannot run as no address can match it ...

Note: be sure you are running v1.3.6 or you should take the time to upgrade to it after you get your templates and overrides set ...

As I dont understand how to set zones where do i get this information from please?
I really need information with examples as i have no idea

Then Tax Classes and Rates on those ...

Do you have them all setup?

All I have is what was already set up in zen cart.

You cannot have tax if you do not define tax ...

You cannot charge tax if you do not define who gets charged tax ...

You might want to do a search for:
setup taxes

And read through those threads to get a better idea of what you need to do for this ... :smile:
