bypassing create account success with empty cart

This is what I am looking for, remove the password and remove all login then have the link in the shopping cart go directly to create_account.php and change the wording on that page.

And yes, we have all heard from those of you who like the account thing and that if we can't wait until this come out in future Zen..........

but in the mean time those of us that love Zen Cart except for the check out steps it would be nice if we can try to clean up the check out to our needs without flack.

So over the next week I will be hacking code and crashing carts until I figure out a way to get rid of the required password and move on through checkout with the order setting in admin.

After all this is how some contributions were created.

Changed languages/english.php line 610 to say just email details. ( This removes the newsletter from billing information.)

Change wording in includes/languages/english/time_out.php

Also remove My Account from ezpages footer. Done from loging into admin under tools.

I will load it up on my active site tonight.

Are you planing on making it a contribution in the downloads?

When I added the mod to my own cart, it was a long time after I had already started removing things, so when it came time to write everything out for you guys, there are probably a lot of places I missed. Holy run-on sentence Batman!

I submitted this to them in December and never heard back, thus the link in my signature. This is just one more instance in my life where I have not been approved. It seems it was equivalent to me submitting a credit application..... DENIED! It's okay though, with continued therapy and prescription pills, I should be in tip top shape by 2012.

Thanks for coming back here and giving us the update on your progress. I hadn't heard yet if I was the only one successful with this and thought maybe I was the only one with the perfect cart.

I think I have my issue resolved. I moved the mod files tpl_login_default.php and tpl_modules_create_account.php directly to my \templates\YOUR_TEMPLATE\templates folder and I'm almost there. If you try and use the original zen 1.3.7 template default files then there is a lot more cleanup being that you have to remove the split login pages from tpl_login.php which was causing my problem.
