How to find out a customer's IP address?

Hi, One of my competitors came to my site and reigstered as a customer with random data, I would like to ban it from visit my site, but how can I find out his IP address? He did not place an order.

Raw access logs will have it, or Install the user tracking module. BUT, blocking an IP is a temporary solution. IP's dont stay with one computer forever. Maybe tomorrow I will have that IP. The Internet was not designed for what you wish for.

I will try to install user track mod. I know this is the prefect solution but at least I can know what my competitors doing on my site and delay their copy cat process.

If anyone have any other methods and would like to share, I will appreciate it.
