is it possible to make one attribute basedon another attribute?

i have colors that are available based on the size chosen....

ex..

sm med only come in black blue orange white yellow

large xlarge come in blue red green white purple

There's nothing native in Zencart. If you want to cross validate attributes, you can do it in Javascript. Here's a description of how to do it:
