Remove In stock Qty and Manufacturer info from Product info?

Dear fellow Zenners

Pls will someone explain to me how to remove the stock count and manufacturer details from the product info display?
I want the model number to stay intact though.

Products are made to order and this information just confuses people.

try these;

goto Catalog -> Product Types -> Product - General -> at the right side, choose Edit Layout -> choose which one of you want to ON or OFF by changing the value
