Zen Cart Newbie Path issues

Hello,

I am new to ZenCart and I went through the set up and it went to the end and successfully created the cart but when I tried to test it gave me a black page and then the admin page was blank as well. Now as I go the path the pictures are not showing up. Can anyone assist me in the setup for pay???

You have apparently succesfully loaded the cart with the demo products, except for the stylesheet(s). There is nothing to tell the code how to display things. Some files may not have uploaded successfully to your server.

Did you unzip the distribution package on your pc and FTP the files to the server? What FTP program did you use? (Some are not reliable.) It might be simplest to delete the entire contents of the /store folder and resend it.

Alternatively, you can look in your server directory structure to see what is there. You are obviously missing /store/includes/templates/classic/css/stylesheet*.css, and possibly other files... or else some linkage is not functioning.

I did the install from the webhost goodies site and did the install. Is there a better way to do the install.
