Override not working

Hi,

im working in

includes\templates\

i just simply wanted to edit and override the stylesheet.css file

ive followed all the instructions in making a new template i made a template called hopn_default and created a template_info.php file, and a /css/ directlroy with my edited stylesheet.css file, i just changed a few colours, but when i install the template from admin and see the store no sideboxes come up?

i tried experimenting and renaming the /classic/ template directory into hopn_default and the same happens again? no sideboxes?

why is this happening?

You have to reset the SideBoxes. Admin> Tools> Layout Boxes Controller.
