Payflow Pro in 1.3.6?

has anyone gotten payflow pro working in a fresh install of zencart v1.3.6?

i've upgraded two stores (one from v1.3.5 and one from v1.3.2) who were using the payflow pro payment module and they're working just fine.

i've created a third store starting with v1.3.6 and i cannot get the payment processing to go through - i'm getting the oh so descriptive: "There has been an error processing your credit card, please try again." with a result code of 126.

all three stores are using the same cert folder (that was a problem i ran into before), so that eliminates the folder permissions issue.

i've compared the three stores and all of the settings are the same (aside from store name and whatnot). can anyone point me in a direction to fix this? thanks.

Re: Payflow Pro in 1.3.6?

i've found the answer... and i actually had this one figured out in a previous post, but didn't listen to myself.

the permissions were not set on the pfpro executable in the includes/modules/payment/bin/ directory - even though i was pointing to a /bin/ directory elsewhere on the server, this mod looks for the pfpro exe in the /payment/bin/ directory.

Re: Payflow Pro in 1.3.6?

After a clean install of 1.3.7 I am getting this error. I have already changed the permissions on the /bin folder and its files. Anyone familiar with a solution?

Has your host disabled the Exec() function within PHP ?

Re: Payflow Pro in 1.3.6?

I'm the host. This is a new Mac OS X server so I don't know if the exec function is enabled. How do I check?

Re: Payflow Pro in 1.3.6?

Go to Admin->Tools->Server Info.
Look in the large PHPinfo section. Does it tell you about disabled functions?

also, please confirm again that the permissions on the files in the includes/modules/payment/bin/ folder are set to world-executable.

Some server configurations like to automatically change file permissions based on a set of rules, thus removing the world-executable setting unexpectedly.

Re: Payflow Pro in 1.3.6?

exec function is enables and I double checked the permissions on the files in the bin folder and they are set to 777.

PHP was not built with gd and openssl support. Could this be the problem?

Possibly, but the binary should handle its communications to payflow directly, and doesn't talk to PHP in the process.
While I'd recommend having PHP compiled with openSSL support, I don't think it's the cause of your present problem.

Re: Payflow Pro in 1.3.6?

When I attempt to check out, I receive a failure email with this infomation in the body. Can anyone shed some light on what this may mean?

valueA: sh: line 1: /.../includes/modules/payment/bin/pfpro: cannot execute binary file
valueB:
RetVal: 126
0 => sh: line 1: /.../includes/modules/payment/bin/pfpro: cannot execute binary file

Re: Payflow Pro in 1.3.6?

Apparently error 126 means "cannot execute binary file"
This would usually suggest that the file doesn't have acceptable permission masks set on it.
But you said you already marked it as executable.

That leaves the idea that maybe it can't find the file (although I would have expected a different error code for that).

This is a little puzzling though: the ... could be just a friendly thing to make the reported information more readable, or it could be a real problem, ie: an invalid path.

/.../includes/modules/payment/bin/pfpro

What is your DIR_FS_CATALOG setting in your /includes/configure.php file ?

define('DIR_FS_CATALOG', '/Library/WebServer/Documents/jadedistributing/');

I added the /.../ for posting purposes because the path was so long. Sorry to confuse you on this.

Re: Payflow Pro in 1.3.6?

No problem ... just making sure that wasn't the cause of the problem.

Perhaps you can engage your hosting company for assistance.

You need to find out why running this binary is giving errors:
/Library/WebServer/Documents/jadedistributing/includes/modules/payment/bin/pfpro

If you have shell access you might be able to test it yourself.

Sorry to sound like a total idiot, I guess this is how we learn, but I don't know what command I should run.
