Link Manager 3.0 Support Thread

countrycharm:

Thank you for explaining this to me. I have wondered about this a while. I have one more question for you. There is nothing to configure under admin/configuration/links manger nothing shows at all but the update button. How do I get the information to display the configuration for link manger. Under admin/extras there are links, link category, links contact everything is there like it is suppose to be. Thank you again.

make sure you've selected "left" and then give it a sort order.

AS for the e-mail - sounds like a problem with hotmail not accepting the e-mail.

Re: Link Manager 3.0 Support Thread

Hi Clyde:

Another question, how do I adust the size (height) of the side box that holds the links. I want to change it so that it shows 10 instead of just 3 categories.

admin -> configuration -> links manager -> Links List - Scroll Box Size/Style (edit to the number of links you want to show.)

Re: Link Manager 3.0 Support Thread

I have been using this product for some time and let me say that it is really great, works well, and is simple to operate, I have run in to a problem when I go to Admin>Extras>Links and click on "new link" it takes me to the Links page to add a link but there is no drop down for approved/pending and action/save the page button is missing, so I thought ok I have version 3-4 something and there 3-5-0 out there so I upgraded to the latest version, but that did not fix the problem, still no drop down and button everything else is there and working all my links are fine, the only thing I can think of that I have done lately is reinstall the RMA module, there 1300 threads here and I seem to be search challenged , would any one here have any idea what this mite be?

Are you getting any type of error message?

The RMA module has no files which would interfere with the functioning of Links Manager.

Re: Link Manager 3.0 Support Thread

Is there any error message at the bottom where the button are suppose to be, like

Status:
Catchable fatal error: Object of class queryFactoryResult could not be converted to string in /home/content/d/a/r/darlenemolden/html/JTmERCADo50/includes/functions/html_output.php on line 333

if so download this fix http://www.zen-cart.com/forum/showpost.php?p=487360&postcount=10

Funny I was getting no error messages, but I tried the fix for the admin side, and it fixed it thanks guys, what about the other fix that was on that page should I apply that to just in case?

Re: Link Manager 3.0 Support Thread

Hello everyone,
I am sorry for posting this, but I have searched (well tried to considering there are over 130 pages of posts) I have a modified version of the cherry_zen template.

I have installed this mod on my site and it seems to be working great but for some reason the description area is too small. it makes the area very tall and skinny. I am sure there is a very easy way to make a change to this but for the life of me I cannot find it.

any help would greatly be appreciated.

the site can be found at http://www.gottoys.biz (please be warned that this is a site that sales adult novelties, if you are easily offended or under 18, please do not go to the site).

Try these settings in:

admin -> configuration -> links manager

Display Link Banner Image 1
