Link Manager 3.0 Support Thread

I tried this and now I am getting a PHP Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING

if (BOX_DISPLAY_FREE_LINK_EXCHANGE == 'true') {

I have tried so many different ways and nothing works.

Ok try this:

I'm having a problem with my submit link, evertime I upgrade or addon I have a problem with something.

I get a blank page when I click on submit link. I checked the error in my cache folder

I had upgraded to v1.3.9g, and added Captcha, after adding Captcha is when it happened.

and i have this 'BOX_HEADING_LINK_CATEGORIES' as a name of category.

belowe is box and under the box:
BOX_INFORMATION_VIEW_ALL_LINKS
BOX_INFORMATION_LINKS_SUBMIT.

everything seems to work but there are only alt text for all links manager images...

Under the captcha verification code is this TEXT_CAPTCHA_INFO.
The problem is in the includes/templates/your_template/templates/tpl_links_submit_default.php on line 166. Do you have any suggestion about this. My web site here here.

I have another question for you Clyde. From my home page when someone clicks the submit a link button it goes to a https:// URL. I have Set it up in admin not to have to create and account to submit a link. How do I get this off the https:// to http://.

I've set up the submit link page to use https:// since you are requesting customer information (the same as the registration page) and I feel this is more secure for all concerned.

Thanks for the information. I have mention in my description for those who want to submit a link not to use the https:// when adding us to there page but they do anyway. When I check link status it comes back not found. I could change it in admin but then all my other links want work. Thanks anyway.

Hi ... I'm liking this contribution a lot, but I can't seem to find any information on the forum threads about removing the ability for anyone to submit a link (I want to use it just to add links myself).

Is there any way to remove the submit button completely from all pages?

No, but you can restrict submissions to only registered customers.

admin -> configuration -> links manager

Only registered customers may submit a Link (set to true)

Thanks for the info ... I solved the problem by just removing the <div> lines from the tpl_links_default.php page in my templates directory. (may not be elegant, but it works) ...

Thank you for contribution. I am using zen-cart1.3.9h and Links Manager v3_5_3c.
I got several promblems:

1. define_links.php not working. I edited this file: ../includes/languages/english/html_includes/mytemplate/define_links.php and the links page remained unchanged.

2. Setting of "Number of link catagories per row" did not work. - I set it to 1 and it shows 3.

3. Catagory order does not work. They do not show as I set at Extra-Link Catagories.
