Credit Card numbers not being captured

I have 2 Zen cart stores and 1 of them captures, splits and emails credit card info with no problem. The other store does not capture the number at all. In fact, when I got to Admin>Modules>Payment the option to "Store the Credit Card Number" is not even available. I deleted and reinstalled in the payment module with no luck.

Have I made a mistake in downloading latest version? If so, can I update this module without entire reinstall? My site that works has:
Zen Cart 1.3.0.1
Database Patch Level: 1.3.5

The site that doesn't work has:
Zen Cart 1.3.5
Database Patch Level: 1.3.5

Is this the problem? It seems like the latest would work better, but apparently not. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

I'm assuming you're talking about the basic CC module, and not something that talks to a live payment gateway to do real-time authorizations and captures.

In the Basic Credit Card module, the option to "store the [entire] credit card number" was removed in v1.3.5 for security and protection reasons.

The ability to email middle-digits still remains.

OH ... and by the way ... strongly recommend that you upgrade again. You have a store running v1.3.0.1 PHP but 1.3.5 database ... that's a bad combination. You really should have them in sync.
Grab the latest version and schedule an upgrade...

For some reason I am still not getting the CC's captured. When I go to the order it says that the customer paid by credit card and it has the CVV number. It does not have the split out parts of the number and I am not getting the other part emailed to me.

I have tried several test orders with my own credit card and the orders come through, the CVV is captured, the type of credit card is captured, but no CC number.

Could I have missed some files when I installed ZenCart? I can't figure out why this isn't working.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

What addons/contributions do you have installed?

Is your 1.3.5 site truly a "completely 1.3.5" site or does it have pieces and parts from an older version in it?

I did a from scratch install of 1.3.5 so I think I have a "complete" package. THe only add-on I have is EasyPopulate Pro. Would that effect it?

EasyPopulate shouldn't hurt the normal order-handling process.
