Hi Kim.....
IE6 all (including my own here) patched current.
Not an IE7 deal, if that is where you were going.......
You can duplicate this flipping the css for mainwrapper to 100%, I want to re stress the only page that will allow right pane overlaying to center region is checkout_shipping when set to variable width (100%)
I am no css nor php guru, but seems we have a definite difference between checkout_shipping and checkout_payment. On my workstation, while set at 100%, I squeeze my browser window down (width wise) to produce the over run......open it up, and go on to checkout_payment, sqeeze all you like, it will stack..........

DrByte:
You said the only known symptom for this is that the Continue button on the checkout-shipping page is ... not visible?
Sounds like a template/display problem more than anything.
- What addons/mods do you have installed?
- What other customizations have you made?
- Have you tried reloading the tpl_checkout_shipping_default.php file, either from your customized version stored on your PC or from the original that comes in the Zen Cart zip?

My installed modules:
backup_mysql_plugin_1.2.10
credit_card_sidebox_1.1
email_archive_search_v1.0
extra_sideboxes (installed but not active. conflicts in 1.3.6)
GoogleFroogle
GoogleSitemapAdmin
image-handler_2.0-zc13
improved_attributes_controller_1.1
links_manager_3.0.2
logo_sidebox_1.0
master_password_1.2.0
newsletter_subscribe_v202 (not active - conflicts in 1.3.6)
price-list_v1[1].3-pre2
sales_report_2.0rev95
scrolling_specials_sidebox_2 (not active - conflicts in 1.3.6)
shopping_cart_with_image_sidebox_1.0
user_tracking_20060805
testimonial_manager_1.3.7
As suggested I did reload my tpl_checkout_shipping_default.php. However, since I cannot recreate the problem I have no way of knowing if it still exists. The customer I'm working with at the moment is less than helpful in terms of analyzing the problem.

Can you duplicate this on a fresh install of v1.3.7 (or even 1.3.6) without any mods installed?
Perhaps change the default classic from 750px fixed to 100% dynamic to come closer to reported behaviour?
I'm still thinking this is a template issue ... based on descriptions thus far.

Kim: This customer is using Fire Fox.
Dr. Byte: Unfortunetly I can't duplicate this at all. It's difficult, at best, to get customers to spend the time to help. The customer who I was currently working with on this issue has (understandly) lost interest. I've contacted the customer who originally reported this problem to me in the hopes that she would be more willing to help solve this issue. I've yet to hear back from her.
A frustrating situation, to say the least. Any fixes I apply may or may not be making the situation better (or worse) but since I can't duplicate, I can't know.

Dr. Byte.....
Yes, this can be duplicated (see above).
I took my clean install of 1.3.7, classic template, edited the template to dynamic width (100% for mainwrapper) go thru a transaction, any computer, any monitor resolution, grab your browser window, squeeze it to the left, and viola..............you will see this.
(only on checkout_shipping), all other pages in the site are fine. Unfortunately, this causes the customer that has hosed resolution, or maybe IE7 issues to not be able to purchase......
Thanks......

Dave - Sorry, somehow I missed your first post stating that duplication was possible. (may have been posting simultaneously)
Dr. Byte - I haven't done a full install myself yet and know that the learning curve is going to be a bit to time-intensive to take on at this moment.
If I can make some free-time, I will certainly give your suggestion a go and post results here.

You are talking about the beadedlily site aren't you? I can't replicate a problem using FF2 - you do have something funky going on though because you have a horizontal scroll bar no matter what resolution I am at. However the continue button is always available and not hidden.

Kim - Thanks for checking into that. Concerning the horizontal bar: What the heck?!? It does not appear in IE and (fortunately) doesn't seem to affect site use in FF. However, as you said, something funky is going on. Have you seen it before? Any suggestions?
Thanks again - Tim

Has anyone resolved this?
Definitely a problem because we have had a few similar complaints but have never been able to replicate the problem ourselves, with IE6 or 7 or Firefox or Safari. We use 100% main wrapper.
It's almost impossible to get useful information out of users although it does seem to happen more with customers from large companies rather individuals.
