hiding breadcrumbs if I am on the homepage failing

if (DEFINE_BREADCRUMB_STATUS == '1' and $breadcrumb->trail(BREAD_CRUMBS_SEPARATOR!="Home")){

Does not actually work.

echo this:
$breadcrumb->trail(BREAD_CRUMBS_SEPARATOR)

You get:
Home

So, check the if statement again:
DO NOT SHOW BREADCRUMBS IF IT IS "Home".

So, I checked, if you set it to:
if (DEFINE_BREADCRUMB_STATUS == '1' and $breadcrumb->trail(BREAD_CRUMBS_SEPARATOR=="Home")){

It hides the breadcrumbs. So what on earth is going on?

Any ideas?

In v1.3.7 you'll find it working this way:```php

<div id="navBreadCrumb"><?php echo $breadcrumb->trail(BREAD_CRUMBS_SEPARATOR); ?></div>
