Mysterious Moving Catagory?

Wow,

This is the second time this has happened and we're not sure what's going on but hopefully it's something we just have overlooked.

The Issue:
This morning my boss came in to find our Accessories catagory missing! We looked all over in the admin panel but it seemed to have been deleted, so he began reuploading our products (which sets us back some time but that's okay) and now if you to to: http://madhatterrgames.com/index.php?main_page=index & click on "Accessories" in the top area and you are directed to: http://madhatterrgames.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=5019

This seems fine and dandy but I reminded my boss (when I arrived) we'd have to change our html links through the site and for fun I clicked on one (you can see this link by going back to the front of the store and clicking on the giant die that says Accesorries below it) and it too me to TA-DA the now missing accessories items: http://madhatterrgames.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=4384

We're not sure where the catagory went or how it got there but it's missing and we'd love to get it back where it belongs... can anyone help us here?

Perhaps an issue with EasyPopulate or your import/update files? You have over 3,000 categories in your category DB tables.

The database rows for cat 4384 is are indeed gone from the cat tables, but there are still products attached to that cat #, which is why they display with the link you gave.

Sashbox: So this doesn't have anything to do with the second DB we found called "temp" that I'm not sure what it's purpose is? My boss was wondering if somehow easypopulate had moved it to that db though I can think of no logical way that occured. Also, is there is no way to restore those to the appropriate areas then?
