Removing the cart showing Weight and quantity

when you go to my site https://www.splishsplashbb.com/shoppe and say click on soaps catagory and animals and one of the soaps it shows you the weight of the product and how many are in stock how do i remove this i would prefer it not show these 2 things thank you

admin > catalog > Product Types > at the right select "edit layout" > Show Weight
and > Show Quantity in Stock > set to "0"

look at others that you might want or not want

OK, I have turned off "show weight" under Product Type Info Page Layout options --> Product - General. Also under Configuration --> Shipping/Packaging, "Display Number of Boxes and Weight Status" is set to zero.

Yet, when an item is put into the purchaser's cart, it says: "Your Shopping Cart Contents
Total Items: 1 Weight: 0lbs Amount: $100.00"

How can I get it to stop trying to show a weight for a product in the customer's cart?

Found it! Under Configuration --> Layout Settings, changed "Shopping Cart - Show Totals" to zero. Posting here in case someone else struggles with this.
