List of changed files?

I currently have version 1.3.6 and have customized my template. I just began adding categories when I discovered the new version 1.3.7. After reading the upgrade instructions, it seems it would be much simpler for me to just to start over from scatch with v 1.3.7. It seems that upgrading would be much simpler and less time-consuming just to have a list of files that have been changed and upgrade them. I am rather concerned about future upgrades if the upgrade process is always going to be as much of a chore as it appears to be. Once completed, my store will have thousands of items and starting over with a new version won't be as easy as it is now. Is there a list of changed files or are all of the files changed in this version?

I think I just found what I need.

Can you tell me where you found the information, I would also like to change as little as possible due to all the work I did to my store.

Thanks
