New Orders on Admin Home

Is it possible, that when an order status is updated to shipped, that is is no longer listed on the Admin Home as new? Or only have the New Orders section on the Admin Home only display orders with the default status?

Re: New Orders on Admin Home

You would have to customize the /admin/index.php ... currently it grabs the 5 latest orders regardless of orders_status ...

Re: New Orders on Admin Home

Any idea what part of the code I need to change and what I should change it to? I see a part that says:

" where orders_status = '"

Could I just change it to:

" where orders_status = 1"

or

" where orders_status = Pending"

Re: New Orders on Admin Home

You need to change line 165 to include the orders_status in the WHERE clause:

  <?php  $orders = $db->Execute("select o.orders_id as orders_id, o.customers_name as customers_name, o.customers_id, o.date_purchased as date_purchased, o.currency, o.currency_value, ot.class, ot.text as order_total from " . TABLE_ORDERS . " o left join " . TABLE_ORDERS_TOTAL . " ot on (o.orders_id = ot.orders_id) where class = 'ot_total' order by orders_id DESC limit 5");

Re: New Orders on Admin Home

Thanks, I got it. I added the following to the excute string for new orders.

<?php  $orders = $db->Execute("select o.orders_id as orders_id, o.customers_name as customers_name, o.customers_id, o.date_purchased as date_purchased, o.currency, o.currency_value, ot.class, ot.text as order_total, o.orders_status as orders_status from " . TABLE_ORDERS . " o left join " . TABLE_ORDERS_TOTAL . " ot on (o.orders_id = ot.orders_id) where class = 'ot_total' and orders_status = '1' order by orders_id DESC limit 5");

Re: New Orders on Admin Home

Thanks for the update and letting us know that you were able to customize the list of Orders to display the New Orders only by adding in the orders_status ... :smile:
