Put a product info/buy button on homepage

Hi, is it possible to copy the source code from a product page, and dump it into the home page?

For example, I have one main product, with file upload, other instructions, quantity and add to cart fields.

Can I copy the generated HTML from this page by viewing>copying the source, and paste it in the homepage template and it will work as if the order came from the actual product page? Or is that too simple?

Zen Cart is not modular and you can not use just the portions of the cart/checkout as pieces in an html site. This has to do with sessions created for access to these pages/functions

You are advised to make Zen Cart look like your current site then scrap the current site.

aha, another case of me badly phrasing my question.

i have set up a zencart shop - see www.ikeyring.com - what I would like to do is add the 'design your own keyring' upload field & add to cart button on the homepage so people can buy directly rather than navigating to that page.

yes, I used the define pages editor. So can I take the rendered HTML from my product page and dump it in there then?

Yes just insure that the pasted code does not have definitions that will not fit the space in this area.
i.e. Like if the space in the center column defines main page is 400px, do not define in html a table or another element that is 500px wide.
