New products for the month

New products for the month

The box in the main page that says "what's new for the month of...." doesn't really display products that were added for that particular month, but random products. I'd like only the products added on that month to be displayed.

How do I do that?

You need to define what you consider to be New Products in the Configuration ... Maximum Values ...

New Product Listing - Limited to ...
Limit the New Product Listing to
0= All Products
1= Current Month
7= 7 Days
14= 14 Days
30= 30 Days
60= 60 Days
90= 90 Days
120= 120 Days

Thanks Linda, but changing it doesn't work, no matter what I have that setup for. I want to set it up for "current month", I've tried that and it still displays random stuff.

Note: this was fixed in v1.3.6 as there was a bug in v1.3.5 ... What version of Zen Cart are you running?

NOTE: the current version is v1.3.7 ... it would do you a world of good to backup both your database and site and upgrade them carefully ... :smile:
