Not Displaying Products

There seems to be a problem with the Zen Cart on my site. The products are not being displayed within the end-user (shopper-screen) although they are appearing in the Admin section, and I can also view them in the PHPMyAdmin for the site. Also, if I make the product featured, then it shows there, but if a user goes in normally, through the category, then sub category(which appear fine) then no products are displayed!

Hope someone can help, thanks in advance.

Stuart.

0 means OFF and any other value is the Sort Order of the columns from left to right of the information ...

Re: Not Displaying Products

I would have you switch to Classic to test if this is your templates and override settings but you are not using your own custom template and override settings you are using Classic ...

NOTE: all of your changes will be overwritten in a future upgrade ...

You can try renaming your directory:
/includes/templates/classic

temporarily to:
/includes/templates/classic_HIDE

And refresh the page to see if it runs correctly ... but if you touched any core files, this test will fail as well ...

When done, just rename:
/includes/templates/classic_HIDE

back to the original name:
/includes/templates/classic

Ok, I renamed it, and it acted in the same way - renamed it back and it's the same.

Some core files were altered to make the site work the way it does, but no code was deleted, only text was changed, such as from "Shopping Cart" - this was changed to "Design Basket" etc, no structure was altered, and it all worked fine until today, all the PHP editing was done weeks ago.

Thanks

Re: Not Displaying Products

Glad your backup was able to fix this ... sounds like one of your files just wasn't doing what it should ...

You really should consider taking the time to make your own template rather than use the Classic template as that will be overwritten when you try to upgrade ...
